Saw a woman on a street corner with a directional sign to “drive thru prayer” today. Only in America can we make the act of contrition to the Creator of All something of convenience because we’re too lazy.

A beautiful day in Surf City, USA.
Good at Rockets (the indie original trio I play in) memorialized on the back wall of the World Famous Doll Hut.
One of the things I hate about moving is trying to find that thing you need afterwards. By a certain point, we just started throwing things in boxes to get it done and I can’t remember what box that thing I need now is in. At least it will never happen again.
Had lunch and caught up with an old friend today. It took us a while to figure out how long it’s been since we last got together. It turned out to be more than two and a half years. Seems like yesterday and a lifetime ago all at the same time.
Now that we’re moved into the new place, it’s driving my wife nuts that I’m not willing to hang things on the walls yet. This is our forever home and I want every bit of décor to have meaning.
Patience my dear wife. Inspiration will strike at the right moment and it will be perfect.
